You are welcome to use the EODC website and Dive Centre based on the terms and conditions set out below.

Accuracy of Content
EODC makes every effort to make sure the contents are accurate and up-to-date, but EODC does not offer any warranties (expressed or implied) as to the reliability, accuracy or completeness of the information appearing on the Website.
Terms of use: Dive Centre
1. Diving Cancellation Policy
If you cancel 7 days or less before check in date, we will charge you a 10% cancellation fee on every booking.
If you cancel with 8-30 days before check in date, we will charge you a 5% cancellation fee for every booking.
If you need to cancel a booking for diving activities, (excluding ITC’s) please let us know 31 days prior to arrival date. To do this you can send us an email on [email protected]
Cancellation of any course will mean payment of the applicable cancellation fees as well as any fees due to SSI.
2.Refund policy
For course bookings and multiple course packages;
a) After the course has begun no refund can be made under any circumstances.
Also a course booked cannot be changed/transferred to a different program or course once started.
We honor and schedule everything offered and communicated to you, and schedule staffing, materials and our training accordingly and a commitment needs to be honored and respected by all parties involved.
However should sickness or other special circumstances force a student to withdraw from a course then
they can join the next scheduled course with availability at no extra charge.
b) It is recommended that trip/travel insurance is carried for cases when the courses cannot be rescheduled.
Partial refunds will only be issued in cases of family emergency, bereavement or medical emergencies (only certain illnesses and not injuries). Certificates will need to be produced for refunds to be issued. If a refund is issued and the package is not completed, then all previous discounts applied to courses will not be valid and the individual course rates will be charged. All refunds will be less a 10% booking deposit and other fees incurred by EODC.
3. Depth Limits and Overhead Environments
-All divers under 15: 12m
-SSI Open Water Divers or equivalent: 18m
-SSI Advanced Adventurer with deep dive or equivalent: 30m
-Divemasters: 30m
-Instructors: 30m
-Divers with Deep Diving certifications: 40m / 130 feet
-XR Divers according to certification
-Overhead penetration beyond the limits of a "swim through" described as an area with entry/exit points at both ends and not exceeding 10m in length will be limited to those divers with overhead environment certification.
-EODC reserves the right to remove diving privileges from any diver who exceeds depth limits and/or
follows unsafe diving practices.
4. Refresher Dives
A refresher dive is required for divers who have been inactive for the following periods of time:
-less than 20 logged dives and inactive for 6 months or more
-less than 50 logged dives and inactive for 1 year or more
-less than 100 logged dives and inactive for 2 years or more
-all divers inactive for more than 5 years will be asked to do an SSI Scuba Skills Update
5. Set-Up Dives
All divers who have not dived in Maltese waters within 14 days prior to diving with EODC will be required to do a set-up dive in a easily accessible dive site no deeper than 18m to ensure equipment is in good function order and weighting is appropriate, this dive is charged at the standard rate according to the dive pack chosen.
6. Intoxicants
The use of drugs or alcohol before diving is strictly prohibited and anyone who arrives for class or fun dives under the influence or incapacitated will not be allowed to dive.
7. Marine Life
Fish Feeding is strictly prohibited, collecting shells, corals, or any living or dead organisms from the sea is also strictly prohibited. Please do not collect or touch anything (other then rubbish) and respect the sea and the environment, divers found to be in breach of this rule will be asked to find a new centre to dive with. The use of any form of artificial lighting is also strictly prohibited when photographing seahorses.
8. Marine Heritage and Fossils
Maltese law prohibits the collection of any type of archeological material as well as the collection of fossils, divers found to be in breach of these laws are subject to heavy fines and or imprisonment.
9. Public Decency
Maltese Laws relating to public decency are very strict and as such we ask divers to respect the local population and traditions by dressing appropriately at all times and cover themselves when changing in public.
10. Loss, Theft and Damage
EODC is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of any personal items. Furthermore EODC are not responsible for dive equipment stored in their facilities or vehicles as the service is offered in good faith. All guests are encouraged to take out travel insurance for this purpose.
11. Rental Equipment
Though every effort is made to ensure our equipment is is proper working order and fit for purpose it is the responsibility of each diver to check their equipment prior to its use. Customers are fully responsible for any EODC equipment they use and will be charged full replacement cost for any dive equipment or dive center equipment lost or damaged. Please ensure equipment is logged in and out and taken care of.

-BCD €300
-regulator €230
-fins €70
-wetsuit €200
-snorkel €10

12. Dust Caps and Cylinders
There is a €50 service charge for any regulator rinsed without the dust cap or cylinder returned with less than 20 Bar.
13. Unaccompanied Minors
Parents wishing to dive separately from their minor children may be required to pay for private guiding/instruction for the unaccompanied minor.
14. Payment
All SSI course materials must be paid at time of purchase, all other services and purchases may be paid at the end of your holiday. In some cases during peak periods a non-refundable 10% deposit my be required to secure a booking.
